Who I am
My name is Joe Ranson, and I provide digital programme and project management consultancy services.
I have 25 years of experience delivering successful products, including large-scale SaaS solutions and high-profile mobile applications.
I work within Agile frameworks with a proven track record in leading process transformation.
I pragmatically adopt processes that best suit the teams and environment in order to deliver efficiently and effectively.
I am equally comfortable working ‘hands-on’ at a tactical level with scrum teams as I am working strategically with C-Suite stakeholders.

I led the delivery programme across multiple teams and initiatives
These included tech stack modernization, 3rd party integrations Feature Development and Regulatory updates
Major initiatives included Group Structure Visualization, NextGen Reporting, Company Healthcheck (integrated with Dunn&Bradstreet) and Document Assembly

OnBoard Meeting Manager is a leading SaaS solution for Corporate Governance
I oversaw multiple product workstreams, including delivering AI integration, M365 Integration and Advanced Agenda Collaboration tools
I owned process transformation changes for teams to improve quality and delivery

eScribe is meeting management SaaS targeted at North American public bodies
I joined during a full platform and tech stack migration to Azure, taking ownership of programme management to address critical issues and bring the project back on track

BoardPad was one of the first Enterprise applications for iPad
I managed the project from vision to launch, and beyond into future iterations
The product was a major success and a primary reason for Diligent's takeover of ICSA Software

The Telegraph iPad app was one of the first media applications for iPad
Working alongside Telegraph Media, I project managed the project from vision to launch
I also projected managed numerous groundbreaking (at the time) mobile apps for The Economist, Al Jazeera, Random House and Times Media

My approach to project management is to add value by:
Reducing barriers between product, design and development
Implementing pragmatic processes that are outcome focussed and facilitate the smooth flow of work
Total transparency to ensure strong project governance and data- based decision making
Being equally comfortable working with scrum teams at a tactical level and as I am working strategically with C-Suite stakeholders
Measuring outcomes and stakeholder feedback, and being ready to adapt based on the data
Manage risk by frequent inspection, mitigation planning, expectation setting and clear communications
Taking ownership at team, product and project levels
